Lane 127 of Zhao’an St. (from Zhao’an St. to Ln. 181, Ningbo W. St.) was originally a two-way street. Based on local residents’ demand and suggestion to change it into a one-way traffic for convenience of access, Taipei City Traffic Engineering Office entrusted Zhongzheng District Office to carry out a questionnaire survey to collect residents’ opinions. The survey results showed that most residents agree to change the said lane into a one-way traffic (southbound). The Office will therefore adjust the related controlling measures based on the results.
Taipei City Traffic Engineering Office states that the change of this traffic route will come into force after the completion of related traffic control facilities on March 23, 2016. The Office reminds drivers to observe the traffic signs (lines) in order to maintain and ensure smooth traffic and road safety.
