Charity Sales, Concerts at Daan Forest Park Sept 26-27
To give comfort and to raise money for the victims of Typhoon Morakot, the Daan District Office will be holding a special event comprising of concerts and charity sales at the Daan Forest Park on September 26 and September 27.
Highlighting flowers and gardening, the special event will last for two days. The concerts will feature various music performances, including shows by Hakka, indigenous, and choir groups.
For the opening ceremony, there will be a charity auction featuring seedlings starting at NT$1. The organizers pledged to donate all income from sales to rebuilding efforts of disaster areas in southern Taiwan.
District Director Sun Chin-chuan encourages individuals from all walks of life to come to the event and contribute to rebuilding efforts.
