2009 TITF: Taipei Pavilion Takes the Spotlight

The 2009 Taipei International Travel Fair (TITF) will take place at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center between October 30 and November 2. According to the Department of Information and Tourism (TPEDOIT), the participating businesses will be offering great discounts from 30 percent to 50 percent. Don’t miss out on this once-a-year opportunity for great bargains!
Taipei City Government joined forces with private companies to promote city tourism at the Taipei Pavilion. Centering on the upcoming 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition, the Taipei Pavilion comprised 30 booths from 14 sectors, offering unique merchandise and tourism information to visitors.
All aspects of the Taipei Pavilion – from the main structure to the event stage – are decorated by different kinds of flower and plants. These decorations transform the showground into a gigantic garden, where visitors can experience the beauty and attractiveness of Taipei’s floriculture.
In addition, all promotion events will carry the flower theme, such as flower meal displays, flower arrangement sessions, and flower coloring lessons.
TPEDOIT announced that people who spend more than NT$ 1,106 at the Taipei Pavilion on October 30 are eligible to enter a raffle for a chance at winning prizes, including a special fukubukuro (lucky bag) worth up to NT$10,000.
