You can adopt a green lifestyle even when living in an urban environment! The 2022 Open Green Fair will take place at the Taiping Elementary School’s “Light up Taiheicho” between 11 AM and 5 PM on Saturday, September 17.
 
In the interest of promoting urban renewal, the Taipei City Urban Regeneration Office (URO) implemented the Open Green 2.0 biannual project by issuing an open call for proposals from the public to transform rundown and idle spaces. In 2022, the project realized the overhaul of six properties and demonstrated the possibilities of public-private collaboration in building a livable city through improving the quality of public spaces.
 
The Open Green Fair seek to share the project’s achievement with the public each year and promote the spirit of a green lifestyle. This year’s venue will bring visitors into the local community space to listen to the presentations by individual teams who have submitted project proposals.
 
In addition, there is also an outdoor market, a forum for community groups to deliver speeches, and hands-on workshop. Visitors will have a firsthand experience to the vitality exhibited by community forces.
