The Department of Information and Tourism (TPEDOIT) announced that the 2010 New Year Countdown Party Guide Map is now available at various locations in the city. The free publication includes a large selection of discount coupons for numerous stores in Xinyi district.
The guide map provides users with information about the countdown party, as well as information on buses, MRT, and parking lots in the vicinity. The illustrated map also indicates the traffic control zones and locations of transfer shuttle bus stops.
In addition, visitors can remove the coupons on the map to enjoy discounts, deals, and freebies at stores in Xinyi District. From “buy one, get one free” deals to extra side dish when ordering meals, the coupons included in the guide book will give visitors good reasons to explore local shops and department stores.
TPEDOIT reminds consumers to check the effective dates printed on the coupons, which may vary for different stores.
A limited supply of New Year Eve Countdown Party Guide Map is available at the following locations:
- Hi-Life convenience stores (in Taipei City/County and Keelung);
- KFC stores (in Taipei City/County and Keelung); Eslite Bookstore (Dunhua and Xinyi branches);
- Information desk on the first floor of the Taipei 101 shopping mall;
- First floor ticket booth at the Novel Hall for Performing Arts;
- Poster car on the first floor of New York New York;
- Sales department on the second floor of Vieshow Cinemas;
- Information desks at Shinkong Mistukoshi department stores in Xinyi District;
- Banking department of Chinatrust;
- Information desk on the first floor of city hall; and
- Visitor information centers in Taipei City
