TCG's "Taipei Information Park and Parking Lot BOT Project" Received the Ministry of Finance's 21st Golden Thumb Award – "Superior"

Taipei City Government (TCG), in collaboration with Syntrend Co., Ltd., submitted the "Taipei Information Park and Parking Lot BOT Project " to participate in the Ministry of Finance (MOF)' s 21st   Golden Thumb Awards. The project won both the "Government Agency Superior Award" and the "Private Team Superior Award". Deputy Secretary-General You Shih-ming of the TCG and General Manager Lai Pao-yue of the Syntrend Co., Ltd. attended the award ceremony today (December 1) to receive the honors.

 

Deputy Secretary-General You Shih-ming of the TCG stated that the "Taipei Information Park and Parking Lot BOT Project" has not only fulfilled local parking needs but has also brought high-quality technological experience mall. The Syntrend team is dedicated to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. The recognition received through the Golden Thumb Awards validates the collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors, creating a triple-win situation for "citizens, investors, and government."

 

Commissioner Hu Hsiao-lan of the Department of Finance (DOF), the TCG stated that since its operation began in May 2014, this public construction project has not only provided citizens with comfortable smart parking spaces to meet local parking needs but has also brought together various industries, including 3C, communications, photography, audio-visual, animation, family, start-up incubation, and gastronomy. This has significantly contributed to the vitality of industries and regional development.

 

DOF, the TCG will continue to promote PPP (public-private partnership) to combine government and private sector funds, creativity, and operational efficiency. This collaborative effort aims to enhance the efficiency of public construction services, making Taipei City a model for a service-oriented government.
