Discovery Taipei Offers Tips on Spring Outings in Taipei

Springtime in Taipei City promises dazzling colors and breathtaking sights to residents visiting the outskirts of the city. The newest issue of Discover Taipei, released on March 10, will introduce the readers to activities of interest taking place in Taipei between March and April.

In this issue, readers will have a chance to learn about the 2010 Yangmingshan Flower Festival, 2010 Calla Lily Festival at Zhuzihu, and the old water pipelines deployed in the Tianmu area during the Japanese colonial era.

In addition, dog lovers will find the articles on where to walk their pets in Tianmu area to be extremely useful. Destinations like the Old Tianmu Trail, Tianhe Park, Tienhe No. 1 Park, and Donghe Park are idea places to give your pets a nice little workout after a busy day or during the weekends.

Are you longing for a taste of spring? Going on a strawberry-picking trip with your family at tourist farms in Taipei would be a possibility. Of course, there are also information on restaurants offering exotic delights using in-season vegetables in Tienmu and Neihu.
