Dinosaurs Conquer Youth Park

The renowned Paper Windmill Theatre Group is currently holding an exhibition featuring dinosaurs at Taipei’s Youth Park. Take your entire family to the free exhibition and enjoy the company of these adorable creatures!
The “Wow! Giant Dinosaurs: Paper Windmill Dinosaur Art Expo” will run until October 10. Open from 9 AM through 6 PM, parents and kids will have a chance to meet these towering beasts, with the gargantuan “Paper Windmill Giant Dinosaur” standing neck-to-neck with three-story buildings.
Wearing a unique design combining the characteristics of Hakka “red flower” cloth and indigenous totem art, the brachiosaur look-alike is 46-meter long and comes with a gigantic tail that doubles as a slide for kids.
During the opening ceremony of the exhibition on October 1, Mayor Hau Lung-bin remarked that his kids love dinosaurs and enjoy talking about these giants of the prehistoric world. Their interest for these creatures encourages them to learn more about evolution and natural history.
He invites everyone to come to the Dinosaur Art Expo in October and visit the caterpillar parade at the 2010 Taipei International Flora Expo in November.
