Taipei Fine Arts Museum (TFAM) will stage the 2010 Taipei Biennale starting September 7. The exhibition will feature prestigious artists from both Taiwan and abroad, bringing a wild range of exhibition and performances to the audience. The event intends to introduce modern arts through a more amusing and diverse approach. Claude Wampler is an artist from the United States who is known for her cross-discipline creations. Her works falls in the borderline between installation art and performing art, seeking to incorporate performing skills into the static visual image art works. The subtle infusion endows her creation with a mysterious and illusory touch. The work she prepared for the 2010 Taipei Biennale is the next installment of her production Large-Scale Flexible & Sexy Self-Cannibalizing Naked Vampire. To complete the presentation, TFAM is looking for 30 amatuer performers to participate in the project. Claude Wampler will arrive in Taiwan during August to serve as the instructor for the training program.
