Are you looking for New Year couplets to decorate the doorway of your house? Come to the giveaway in Beitou to get free couplets! Beitou District Office is organizing the event in collaboration with Cisheng Temple and Cihou Temple.

According to the district office, there will be two couplets giveaway sessions – one at Cisheng Temple on January 31, and another at Cihou Temple on February 6.

Over 20 calligraphy teachers from the Chinese Calligraphy Teaching Association will write the couplets on the spot and give them away to the audience.

In addition to New Year couplet/calligraphy demonstrations, visitors can also join workshops offering free lessons on making soap, cell phone strap, paper firecracker, and other kinds of homemade handicrafts.
