EVA Air Unveils Flora Expo Cabinet

During the press conference on February 4, Mayor Hau Lung-bin, Evergreen Group Chief Vice Group Chairman S.S. Lin and EVA Airways President Steve Lin jointly unveiled the new Flora Expo cabinet to the public.
To raise international awareness of the 2010 Taipei International Flora Expo and to offer tourists around the world a convenient and safe option for visiting the event, Taipei City Government has collaborated with EVA Airways to outfit the cabinet on four Airbus 330-200 according to the Flora Expo theme.
In addition to cabinet decorations reflecting the theme of upcoming expo, the company has also placed the flora expo images on over 40 different types of airline products, from headrest covers to cup pads, as well as two million flora expo boarding passes and luggage tags.
The first of the aircrafts outfitted with the Flora Expo cabinet is scheduled to leave on February 5. The fleet of “flora” aircrafts will serve routes to major destinations in Asia, including Hong Kong, Seould, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Nanjing.
The mayor remarked that the City is expecting the expo to attract over 8 million visitors. He said EVA Air’s worldwide presence will help raise the visibility of the event and promote it to an international audience.
