Street Fair Taking Place on Mother’s Day
To promote the business of small and median companies, the City’s Department of Economic Development (DED) joined hands with the central government’s Economic Affairs’ Small and Medium Enterprises Administration (SMEA) to organize a street fair between May 8 and 9.
The streets before the City Hall will be closed for the two-day event. This outdoor market will feature five hundred small and median companies from eight burgeoning industries, including baking, information technology, dining, franchising, non-store retailing, culture, health care and local specialty.
All of these stores participating in the fair are ahead of their peers in the performance of product innovation, manufacturing technique or service/marketing strategies. According to the organizers, the planned gathering will promise companies an exchange and mutual learning opportunity.
In addition to product exhibition and selling, there will be other attractions ranging from concerts, raffle sessions, charity bazaars and freebie giveaway at the site.
The organizers invite the public to come and explore the street fair in celebration of the Mother’s Day.
