Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) reported that Taipei’s MRT system served its 4,000,000,000th passenger on April 22. To celebrate this landmark achievement, the MRT Souvenir Shop will be holding a special sale between April 22 and May 31.

The special sale is available at the following stores: Taipei Main Station Metro Souvenir Shop; Zhongxiao Fuxing Station Metro Souvenir Shop; and Metro Souvenir Shop online store. The event consists of four major “waves”, including:

Crystal Product Discount:
Dates: April 22 – May 1
Details:
A 10-percent discount is available for eight different kinds of crystal products
Receive an extra letter set by adding NT$40 with the purchase of any of the aforementioned crystal product

New MRT Souvenir Sale:
Dates: May 2 – May 11
Details:
Customer can enjoy a 10-percent discount when purchasing an apparel (new line) and a cap (new line) together
Customer can enjoy a 10-percent discount when purchasing a stationary (new line of pen holder or name card holder) with an accessory (new line of key chain or cell phone strap)

Merchandise Clearance:
Dates: May 12 – May 21
Details:
Four collector’s edition MRT ticket sets will be available at a bargain price
Receive a stylish memo pad by adding NT$40 to the purchase of a product from any of the six discontinued apparel lines

Combo Deals:
Dates: May 22 – May 31
Details:
Customers will receive great discounts when purchasing two or more of selected products (such as those from the “Taipei” series) at the same time
Receive a ticket collection product by adding NT$40 to purchases of NT$400 or more at the Metro Souvenir Shops
