To celebrate its 64th anniversary and pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Taiwanese Campus Folk Song Movement, Taipei Broadcasting Station (TBS) proudly presents the “Love in Taipei: Summer Concert.” This special event will feature a star-studded lineup including Yvonne Cheng, Lily Lee, Johnny Yin, Ming-Te Li, and the Acoustic Guitar Band. The concert will take place on July 19 at the Chung Hsing Hall of the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University (HSNU), and free tickets will be available starting Monday, June 30 at 9:30 a.m. All citizens are warmly invited to join the musical celebration.

According to TBS, the “Love in Taipei: Summer Concert” will include two performances on July 19 at the Chung Hsing Hall of HSNU (near Exit 2 of MRT Daan Station). The two sessions will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Free ticket collection (both physical and digital) opens at 9:30 a.m. on June 30. Digital tickets will be available through the KKTIX platform (membership required). Each person may claim up to two tickets for a single performance while supplies last.

The concert will feature 20 beloved classics from the campus folk era, including July, at the Liang Mountain, Silk Cotton Avenue, Flower Ring, The Bold and the Beautiful, Moonlight in the City, and I Close My Eyes. A special highlight will be a collaborative performance of Grandma’s Penghu Bay by students from HSNU’s Guitar Club and singer Ming-Te Li, bridging generations through the power of song.

TBS Director Shao-Chien Hu remarked, “For 64 years, TBS has not only recorded the sounds of Taipei but also traced the life stories of its people. This concert is a heartfelt gift to our listeners. Through familiar melodies, we hope to rekindle the warmth of summertime memories and strengthen the emotional bond between the city and its people. We warmly invite everyone to come with family and experience this unforgettable musical journey together.”

The concert will also be livestreamed on the [TBS 931] YouTube channel, inviting those who can’t attend in person to enjoy the event online and create beautiful summer memories through music.
