The Taipei Pot Plant Auction is holding a series of events on weekends throughout December to celebrate the upcoming Christmas!
The activities included special sales on poinsettias, the landscape design contests, quizzes about poinsettias and fundraising bazaars. People who participate in the events will have a chance to receive a potted poinsettia priced at NT$2,000 and other prizes.
According to the Department of Economic Development(DED), the Taipei Pot Plant Auction, located in the Wenshan District (Xinglong Road), is a new potted flower wholesale market in the city. The market is a family-friendly place because multiple parks and playground facilities could be found in its neighborhood; in addition, creations from famed florists were constantly displayed at the first floor of the building, which offers another attraction for tourists to explore.
To encourage more people to visit the venue, the city government had interactive public arts sited on the plaza before the market. These works of art became the photo-taking favorite for tourists and the recreation facilities for kids. The DED invites everyone to come and enjoy the fun events on the weekends!
