The Taipei City Government, committed to safeguarding citizens' health and fostering a smoke-free outdoor environment, hereby announces the implementation of a smoking ban in the following locations, effective May 1, 2025, in accordance with paragraph 1, subparagraph 4 of Article 19 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act. In these locations, smoking is completely prohibited except in designated smoking areas:

1. The outdoor areas of the Taipei Sports Park.

2. The outdoor areas of the Taipei Municipal Tianmu Baseball Stadium.

3. The outdoor areas of the Taipei Municipal Tennis Center

4. The outdoor areas surrounding the National Taiwan University Sports Center.

Violators of this smoking ban will be subject to a fine ranging from NTD 2,000 to NTD 10,000, as stipulated in paragraph 2 of Article 40 of the aforementioned Act.
