The MRT Luzhou Line covers a distance of 11.6 kilometers. There are 11 MRT stations along the line, including six stops in Taipei City (MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, MRT Songjiang Nanjing Station, MRT Xingtian Temple Station, MRT Zhongshan Junior Elementary School Station, MRT Minquan W. The completion of the MRT Luzhou Line will help divert the number of passengers traveling to the venues of the 2010 Taipei International Flora Expo; in addition to taking the train to MRT Yuanshan Station, visitors will also have the choice of disembarking at either MRT Zhongshan Elementary School Station or MRT Xingtian Temple Station and walk to Xinsheng Park..
At the end of the briefing, DORTS invited the dignitaries to write their prayer and wishes on a “ceramic tile of good fortune.” According to the agency, the tiles will be embedded in the public art exhibition area of the MRT station.
