Walking Event at Taipei Zoo This Weekend!
To raise public awareness on animal protection and to promote walking as a form of exercise, Taipei Zoo will organize a walking event and learning session at the park during the weekend of August 7. Below are the details of the activity: Time Session 1: August 7, 6:30AM – 9AM Session 2: August 8, 6:30AM – 9AM Walking Route Main Entrance Square → Energy Conservation Wall → Zoo Encircling Road → Guang Ping Tunnel → Wetland Ecological Lake → Wooden Path → Temperate Zone Animal Area → Amphibian and Reptile House → Free Time Registration Information - Registration fee: NT$100 per person. - Each session limited to 1,000 participants. - Registration must be completed before 8AM on the day of event. - Pre-registration Period: July 19 – August 6 (4PM) - Online application form is available at Taipei Zoo Chinese website. Registered participants are required to submit payment at the service counter on the day of event. - On-site pre-registration: Individuals who complete the registration and turn in their payment in person at the Tourist Service Center will receive a set of “Panda Postcard” as an extra gift. - Registration at the door: The deadline is 8AM on the day of the event. Entries are accepted at the main Entrance of the zoo Participants completing their registration will receive the following gifts: a commemorative wristlet, snacks from the Sherwood Taipei (limited to 100 sets per session), and a booklet with an admission ticket, a raffle ticket, and vouchers usable for drinks and classes. The raffle will take place at the Main Stage at 10:20AM on August 8. A number of gifts will be given away to lucky winners, including hotel vouchers for the Sherwood Taipei, Spa coupons, afternoon tea gift vouchers, Walking with Dinosaurs tickets(x2), “Working at Zoo” Passes, and more!
