1.Hospital registration fees are not medical expenses and not covered by the National Health Insurance. However, it is concerned by the public. As a result, the Bureau of National Health Insurance (BNHI) has requested each contracted medical care institution to provide information on the registration fees. The BNHI has also created a webpage for the public to search for such information. The public can use it as a reference before seeking medical attention.

2.Directory path of the webpage (in Mandarin Chinese): BNHI Website (www.nhi.gov.tw) Home/Quick Search/Contracted Medical Care Institution (Hospital) Registration Fee Search. The information published includes registration fees for general outpatient services, night outpatient services, and emergency room services. The public is welcome to use this information for reference.

3.The BNHI is now gathering the information on the registration fees collected by each contracted medical care clinic. It will take about a month before the public can search for the registration fees of these contracted clinics.
