Signing ECFA Mayor Hao: Not One Labor Less

Taipei City Mayor Hao expressed last week that estimate 3,000 labors of Taipei City will be affected after signing the contract of ECFA, however, he will insist the spirit of “Not One Labor Less” and reinforce Vocational Training to minimize the impact that might occurred.
Mayor Hao visited Taipei Vocational Training Center (TVTC) located at Shih-ton Rd, Shih-Lin District. In his speech, he mentioned that though Taipei would receive more advantages than disadvantages after join to ECFA, estimate 3,000 labors would be still affected. To protect these labors, Taipei City will insist the spirit of “Not One Labor Less” and reinforce on Vocational Training to minimize the impact due to join the ECFA.
Mayor Hao also gave affirmative respond to TVTC for helping unemployed labors during the financial meltdown last year. The Training Center have offered over 400 courses and trained over 10 thousands person-time. He praised the achievement that the Training Center has made and also thank for the effort devoted from all TVTC employees.
After listen to the presentation, Mayor Hao visited the students in the classes and blessed them finding ideal jobs after the training. Mayor Hao also participated Halftone Printing course and printed the word “Taipei” and the logo of Taipei Int’l Flora Expo on the T-shirt.
