The first 2017 singing competition is coming up and will be held on June 18th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Taipei Travel Plaza. In this competition, there will be a prize of 8000NT (1st place), 5000NT (2nd place), 3000NT (3rd place) and we will also be selecting 3 preferred for 1000NT each. Department of Information and Tourism commissioner Chien Yu-yen claimed that Muslim friends love singing. Therefore, we hope to showcase their singing talent by holding singing competition one week prior to the Hari Raya Idul Fitri. The top three contestants of the competition will have the opportunity to perform live on stage in 2017 Hari Raya Idul Fitri on June 25th. The celebration will also include performances by Indonesian singers such as Fitri Carlina, Septi Vhanesa, and other rock bands. 丁安妮, who is the host of the show, said, “I hope everyone would participate in this competition, and let the people of Taiwan know that foreign workers can be both hardworking and talented.” 丁安妮, who originally came from Indonesia, actively promotes Indonesian media culture in Taiwan. She is an editor of "4-Way Voice" newspaper, the host of "Song In Taiwan" show, and the winner of Golden Bell Award for outstanding host.
