More City Garbage Trucks to Install Diesel Particulate Filters

To play a role in the reduction of air pollutant emission, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) began adding diesel particulate filters to 50 tier 3 diesel garbage trucks in 2015. The success of the pilot program convinced the agency to allocate NT$25 million in its budget to extend the gear installment to another 100 vehicles.
